woo hoo…we’re seniors!

So Much Depends Upon…

the calendar of my life

 my flat iron

my calendar…so much depends upon my calendar, hanging up on the wall, schoolwork, activities, life, days filled in.

my flat iron…so much depends upon my calendar, straighten my hair, right by my mirror on the floor, calms down my hair.

My Calendar

So much depends upon,

My calendar hanging up,

Filled with schoolwork & activities,

It defines my life.

My Flat Iron

So much depends upon,

the iron on the floor.

To straighten it out;

Calms down my hair.

    So I feel that your flat iron has a life. Your one iron calms your hair. Wonderful personification! I can totally relate to the calendar defining your life. These poems are so descriptive and wonderful!

    Good job Sarah you’re a poet and you didn’t even know it. :) lol. I like your flat iron poem and how you talk about it calming your hair. I get a nice visual of a flat iron just petting your hair softly till your hair lays down on your hair and falls asleep. It does a great job cause you got great hair!

    I love those poems Sarah! I thought about doing my calendar too. I completely understand the fact that it defines your life. Emily and Rockie are right about the flat iron one, it was really great personification

    I love your two poems Shroady! I like how you gave your iron the skill to “calm your hair down and straighten it out”. I can also see the importance that a calendar and a flat iron are in your life! Good Job!
